💻 My tech setup
The setup is that wet dream of every technology enthusiast who is always on the move, changeable and constantly evolving.
My workstation is designed to be minimal, welcoming and with the right design Why Oh even the eye wants its part.
Let's go in order:
- Samsung M8 Smart Monitor: I have always been looking for a product that combines the performance of a good PC monitor with the entertainment of Smart TV and this Samsung one can do both things like God. The M8 has an excellent 32" IPS panel with Game Mode for fps, Samsung Workspace/Media hybrid operating system and a super minimal Apple-style design.
- 14-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip: since Apple introduced Apple Silicon, Macs have become the best work devices from all points of view, very powerful and with literally infinite autonomy.
- Various accessories including the excellent mouse MX Master 3 for Mac, of which I also made a small video, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID To quickly unlock the Macbook and a very decent Magic Trackpad to be used if necessary.
- Before that there was also an iPad Pro but unfortunately, in the end, having a Macbook, he spent most of his time acting as a paperweight... if you really want to get rid of the iPad whim, Apple has just lowered the price a lot by iPad 10 which on Amazon is already about 350€ which is top!
.. and that's it, long live minimalism.
👾 Gaming & Video Games I'm Loving
Lately I have been in a phase in the middle between chill and competitive, here is the list of the last games installed on the PS5:
- Helldivers 2: raga since it came out I haven't thought of anything else, it's the best PvE game in the last 10 years. Crazy graphics, amazing cinematic gameplay and a blast to play with friends!
- Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: this game in a single word can be described with a nice “meh” because it's boring, flat, technically embarrassing and a big disappointment for all Final Fantasy fans. Rather play FF16 What a kicker.
✨ Interesting products
Continuously updated list - as far as possible - of newly-purchased tech products worthy of note or something that I'm keeping an eye on with interest:
- Hisense 2023 4K QLED Smart TV: my old Hisense bought 5 years ago broke and I caught this crazy TV that at 300€ is top, gaming mode, supports VRR and HDR10+ for the PS5 and is also anti-reflection!
- Razer Kishi Ultra for iPhone and iPad Mini: a dream come true, they have finally produced a controller that supportsiPad MinI! It's the ultimate gaming 'console' for mobile gaming and connecting to the PS5 via PS Remote without compromise (not like that crap of Playstation Portal, caught is review)
